A variety of entertainments is offered at the Rostock Zoofest. The Circus Fantasia invites children to participate with interactive activities. Children can watch animals and also there is a tombola and much music.

The largest Christmas fair in the north of Germany conjures up a festive blaze of lights in the historic city centre between Neuer Markt, Kröpelin Gate and the city harbour. The lovely odours of Glühwein and Christmas biscuits, Rostock smoked sausage and other titbits fill the air. A must for Advent fans from November 25th to December 22nd. Visitors can expect contemplative pleasure, presents for under the tree, carousels and a big wheel, live music and a fun Christmas programme for the kids.
